One of the most common bed sizes, a queen bed requires the proper sheets to fit snugly on the mattress for the most comfortable sleep. Additionally, extra layers’ size should also be considered as they may not always be the exact same dimensions as your sheets. 

What Size Are Queen Sheets?

There are multiple components to your queen sheet set including a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and set of pillowcases. A queen fitted sheet measures 60” x 80” with a varying depth. Our fitted sheets are made to accommodate mattresses up to 18” tall, however our adjustable fitted sheets can accommodate mattresses from 10” - 22”! If you prefer to use a flat sheet, the queen size dimensions measure 102” x 112” for a bit extra length on the sides to avoid lifting during the night. Last but not least, your standard size pillowcases will work perfectly on a queen bed measuring 20” x 30” for a little extra length, however many people prefer to use king size pillows on their queen bed for additional cushioning.

What Size Are Queen Blankets?

The size of blankets usually vary depending on material, brand, and purpose, however most queen blankets measure around 90” x 90”. Blankets aren’t meant to be as large as your flat sheet, but rather just enough to cover the top of the mattress. Certain types of blankets, like a coverlet, may be larger due to the stylish nature of the piece. 

Coverlets

Our diamond quilted coverlets measure 90” x 96” for a bit more length than your average queen size blanket. This allows for additional coverage and versatility when it comes to extra warmth at night or changing up the look of the room when it’s time to make the bed.

Throws

Throws are a bit smaller than both coverlets and a traditional blanket. They are usually sized based on how large you prefer the throw, rather than the size of the bed since they can be tossed on just about anything including beds, sofas, lounge chairs, and ottomans. Our Egyptian cotton throws measure 50” x 60” for a comfortable size that allows for extra versatility and comfort.
